Maven Capital Partners UK LLP is an independent private equity business. Previously the Private Equity division of Aberdeen Asset Management, we provide funding for management buy-outs, buy-and-build projects and acquisitions, as well as mezzanine finance, for companies valued at up to £25 million throughout the UK private and small cap arena.

Specialising in fast-growing companies across the private and small cap arena, we manage or advise on over £150 million* for a variety of client funds and provide the full range of private equity services to our client base.

VCTs

Our core business focus is on managing Venture Capital Trusts (VCT's).We manage six VCTs, with over 9,000 investors. VCTs are a key strand of our business – as we aim to continue providing a high level of tax-free yield to investors seeking exposure to alternative tax-efficient assets.

Maven was appointed in April 2009 to manage the £30m Capital for Enterprise Fund A, as part of the Real Help for Business programme introduced by the Government to help bridge the current funding gap that many UK small to medium enterprises are experiencing as a result of the credit crisis.
