The annual Northern Tech Awards showcase the tech sector across the North of the UK, recognising the businesses with the highest revenue growth over the last three years. Airtime Rewards, Automated Analytics, iAM Compliant, Mirrorweb, My Digital, Nivo, ProofID, Snappy and XR Games, have all been included in the Top 100 for 2024. The awards honour the ambition, dynamism and hard work of the management teams we have backed, whilst demonstrating the important role Maven is playing in helping growth focused tech businesses across the region fulfil their potential.

Our funding solutions have helped hundreds of management teams throughout the North and across the wider UK in realising their visions and achieving transformative growth, including a number of those that have been listed in the Top 100 for 2024.

EdTech specialist, iAM Compliant, is a cutting-edge web-based tool for compliance and training. It simplifies the daily management of health and safety protocols and statutory reporting and offers a comprehensive range of eLearning courses for staff training. With the business currently experiencing substantial growth and witnessing strong merger and acquisition activity in its sector, iAM continues to improve its market position, grow its team and expand its product offering.

ProofID provides identity security consultancy and managed services for enterprise customers across the UK, Europe, and North America from its headquarters in Manchester and a US office in Colorado Springs. Investment from Maven’s Buyout Fund has enabled the business to accelerate its growth plans by continuing to develop its partnerships with leading identity and access management vendor, Ping Identity, and identity governance and administration specialist, SailPoint. It has been named as Ping’s Delivery Partner of the Year for the past five years.

Snappy Shopper is redefining local shopping with its tech solution that digitalises traditional delivery services with a unique operating model. Their app allows customers to connect with local businesses, enabling retailers to compete effectively in the fast-evolving on-demand convenience market, at a time when the importance of local shops has never been felt more keenly. With millions of users across the UK, Snappy is creating hundreds of new jobs as it invests in people, technology, partner services and marketing.

Award winning video game development studio XR Games specialises in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) based games. The business works closely with Sony Pictures and other IP holders to bring licences to life in VR, and works with the world’s largest publishers and hardware manufacturers such as Meta, PlayStation and Microsoft. Going from strength to strength the business quadrupled headcount to over 100 and continues to work on a number of critically acclaimed games.
