Simon joined Maven in November 2023 and is based in our Glasgow office. His responsibilities include managing existing portfolio assets and identifying new development deals.
Prior to joining Maven, Simon worked at Savills for six years within the Mixed-Use Development team and was based in their Glasgow office. At Savills he was involved in both development consultancy and transactional instructions across a range of sectors including Build to Rent and Student Accommodation. Key areas of specialism included repurposing/repositioning of retail assets, high street regeneration and development funding.
Simon has a degree in History (MA Hons) from the University of Edinburgh. He also holds a degree in Real Estate (MSc) from Reading University.
He is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) having qualified in 2016.
Outside of work Simon enjoys cycling, golf and going to the gym, if he isn’t looking after his two young children.
I am excited to be involved with a range of property projects within the Living Sector and across the UK. I enjoy seeing projects through from initial site identification to inception and through to completion. I look forward to identifying new profitable projects and providing attractive returns to Maven investors as we enter a new property development cycle.
