Ryan is a Partner at Maven Capital Partners and heads up Maven’s Manchester office, focusing on sourcing and executing private equity transactions across the North of England. Ryan sits on the Maven Investment Committee and also holds a number of board seats for portfolio companies. He has been a member of the Maven team for over 17 years having joined Maven’s then parent, Aberdeen Asset Management in 2007.
Prior to joining Maven, Ryan spent 8 years at PwC in their Corporate Finance team, advising management teams and private equity houses across a range of transactions. At PwC he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA). Ryan has an LLB Honours Degree in Law from the University of Leeds.
Outside of work Ryan enjoys travel, golf and lacrosse, having previously represented the England Lacrosse Team at two World Championships and a European Championship. Latterly, 3 young children mean that most leisure pursuits have taken a back seat to operating a kids taxi and concierge service each weekend.
