Based in our Birmingham Office, Raj has responsibility for new MEIF investments across the West Midlands, as well as managing the relationship with existing portfolio investments across the region. His specific regional areas of geographic coverage being The Black Country and the Telford / Shrewsbury areas of The Marches.
Raj joined Maven in 2017 following a 30-year career with NatWest, primarily as a relationship manager in the SME commercial and corporate banking sectors. Raj has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the SME market having managed a broad portfolio of commercial customers predominantly in the manufacturing sector but also including services, healthcare and leisure.
Outside of work Raj enjoys walking for miles with his English Springer, watching cricket and visiting Florida.
Being able to make the difference in the growth ambitions of a business is exciting and the Midland Engine Investment Fund certainly provides opportunities to fund SME’s who ordinarily maybe overlooked.
