James joined Maven in May 2019 and is based in our Manchester office. His responsibilities include deal origination and execution across Northern England.
Prior to joining Maven, James was a Corporate Finance advisor at Top 10 Accounting firm, Mazars, where he advised owner managed businesses on; selling their businesses, acquiring businesses, fundraising, management buy-outs and financial modelling. James has also worked at Ernst & Young (EY) for four years prior to his time at Mazars.
James holds a BSc. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Lancaster and is a Chartered Accountant.
Outside of work James enjoys football, travelling and spending time with his family and 2 children.
