David discusses how the business has been able to drive sustainable growth, the Circular Economy and staying at the forefront of the manufacturing industry.
Based in Newton Aycliffe, they offer bespoke bathroom solutions to house builders and hotels globally. With 37 years of experience, Roman is the largest shower manufacturer in the UK and Europe, serving 70+ international markets. Their clientele includes renowned names like Berkeley Homes, Taylor Wimpey, IHG Hotels, and Hilton.
In April 2022 Maven invested £1.5 million in Roman through a growth capital deal, this included £800,000 from the Finance Durham Fund and £700,000 from the North East Development Capital Fund. The funds have helped boost production at Roman's Newton Aycliffe plant by aiding increased demand and purchasing new equipment for customer needs.
