Philip joined Maven in January 2025 and is based in the Edinburgh office. His main responsibilities are portfolio management across Scotland.
Prior to joining Maven, Philip spent four years in Strategy and Business Operations at London-based C2B marketplace Motorway. He joined shortly after the company’s Series A fundraise and was responsible for launching and scaling new revenue lines as the business grew to unicorn status.
Earlier in his career, Philip worked in corporate finance at Grant Thornton and AAB, supporting businesses in raising equity investment.
Philip holds a degree in Business and Management from the University of Exeter, which included a year studying at Lund University in Sweden.
Outside of work, Philip is a dedicated Manchester United and Irish rugby fan.
