Hugo joined Maven in June 2025 and is based in our London office. His responsibilities include deal origination and execution across the South of England.
Prior to joining Maven, Hugo spent six years at 24Haymarket as part of their investment team, where he was responsible for executing and completing growth equity and venture capital transactions. Most recently, he led Investor Relations and Fundraising Strategy at Multiverse Computing, a Quantum-AI scale-up that raised a $215 million Series B funding round in 2025.
He has an MA Honours Degree in Economic History from the University of Edinburgh.
Outside of work, Hugo enjoys most sports, in particular golf, skiing and cricket.
