Glacier Energy Services offers specialist engineered solutions to the oil & gas industry and global energy sectors, through its engineering and offshore divisions. Glacier was originally formed from the acquisition of two complementary and profitable businesses, Robert Pipeline Machining and Wellclad, from MB Aerospace. It has since made further three acquisitions enabling the expanded Glacier group to provide a wide range of products and services to a global oil & gas client base.
Glacier now has operational bases in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Newcastle, as well as in Singapore, and its expertise covers areas such as specialist on-site machining, non-destructive testing and inspection, and weld overlay of surface and subsea wellhead equipment.
Both of the acquired companies, based in Scotland’s manufacturing heartland, boast a proven track-record and a solid oil and gas customer base. Glacier will expand and enhance the combined range of services through organic growth and strategic acquisitions
