The Great Scottish Run, one of Scotland's biggest running events, attracts thousands of runners each year take part each year to challenge themselves and to raise money for good causes.
This year, Maven has entered a team and will be running in aid of its nominated charity of the year, the Honeypot Children's Charity, which provides support to young carers and vulnerable individuals aged 5-12 offering vital respite break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and providing a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential. The support and opportunities Honeypot provides, help immeasurably for both the physical and mental well-being of so many affected individuals.
Honeypot recently opened their new respite centre in Ayrshire, the first in Scotland, and needed support to help furnish and equip this new safe space for children who endure difficult family circumstances.
The team have been hard at work with events throughout the year, from race nights, to bake sales and even a Dolly Parton themed film night in the office. Every pound raised brings them one step closer to providing these children with the support they deserve.
