Maven has welcomed Martin Hadfield to the business!

Martin joins Maven as Investment Manager, working within our Birmingham investment team. Martin will cover the Warwickshire region, supporting local businesses with ambitions to grow to access funding through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF).

Martin joins Maven with over 30 years' experience within the banking industry, having previously worked at Barclays, Bank of Scotland, and RBS amongst others.

Maven continues to be one of the most active funders across the West, East and South East Midlands, and has now deployed over £60 million of debt finance through the MEIF to growth-focused businesses across the region. The Fund has supported some great Warwickshire-based businesses to date such as Toye Kenning & Spencer, IQ Medical, and Opus Vision.

"After spending over 30 years within the banking industry, I look forward to using that experience to help businesses across Warwickshire obtain funding where conventional sources of funding are unavailable to them. The Midlands Engine Investment Fund is a fantastic Government initiative which is helping to create economic growth and increase employment in the Midlands and I look forward to working with ambitious management teams across the region to structure tailored funding solutions which suits their business now and in the future."
