The Spring 2015 edition of Creating Value is now available. In this issue we feature three established private companies added to the portfolio since the previous newsletter, in the Sports Equipment, Specialist Manufacturing and Engineering sectors, as well as details of Maven VCTs supporting value accretive transactions for three existing portfolio companies.
We also profile the sale of two investee companies to private equity buyers, which achieved exit multiples of 2.6x and 3.8x for Maven VCTs, allowing us to recycle proceeds into new assets and maintain a progressive dividend programme.
Also spotlighted is an existing portfolio company which has grown significantly with Maven’s proactive support into a dynamic global energy services business, through a series of complementary acquisitions and a range of initiatives to drive organic growth.
And finally we outline a planned series of Meet the Manager events for the coming Autumn, the imminent launch of the new Maven website, and a scholarship initiative aimed at identifying school-leavers who might otherwise not have the chance to work in the finance sector and may prove to be the next generation of private equity professionals.
