Richard joined Maven in June 2018 and is based in our Nottingham office. He has specific responsibility for transacting new investments for MEIF Maven Debt Finance.
Prior to joining Maven, Richard worked as a Corporate Manager at Handelsbanken for over four years and was based in their Nottingham West Bridgford office. Prior to that he had Corporate roles at the Co-operative Bank based in Derby for 7 years and 27 years at NatWest/RBS including several various front line lending roles.
He has a qualification with the Chartered Banker Institute and a Financial Studies Diploma.
Outside of work Richard enjoys football, walking, travelling, and the cinema.
For over 20 years I have worked with SME’s across the East Midlands to help achieve their growth plans. Meeting and supporting businesses across a wide variety and diverse number of sectors and helping the management teams to grow their business is undoubtedly the best part of the job.
