Mark joined Maven in June 2026 and is based in our Glasgow office. His principal responsibilities are acting as Company Secretary to the Maven VCTs and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Prior to Maven, Mark worked in a variety of corporate governance roles across a number of industries including the US investment banks, the mutual sector, the regulated utilities and in a FTSE 250 bank.
Mark has an MA(Hons) from the University of Glasgow where his degree was in Politics, with subsidiary classes in Music and Scottish Literature. He also has an LLB(Hons) in Scots Law from the University of Strathclyde. During his time at Glasgow he won a scholarship to spend the summer in Washington DC working in the US Senate and the White House.
Outside of work, enjoys spending time with family and friends, dining out and travel.
