Katie joined Maven in July 2024, based in our Bristol office and has responsibility for new SWIF investment across the South West, as well as managing relationships with existing portfolio investments across the region. She has a keen interest in supporting female founders through her work with the Gender Index and hosting female founder workshops for entrepreneurs in the South West.
Katie trained as an ACA Chartered Accountant with PwC, working with predominantly financial sector companies including insurance firms, banks and asset management businesses.
She holds a BA in Ancient History and an MSc in Management from the University of Bristol, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Outside of work, Katie loves camping (preferably in hotter climates!), surfing, sailing and all things outdoors.
I feel fortunate to work with ambitious business leaders across the South West, supporting them as they take on the challenges of growth. The region is home to such a diverse mix of companies, and it’s inspiring to see the vision and drive behind them. What I enjoy most is building relationships with management teams and helping them shape a path to achieve their ambitions, while drawing on the wider experience and support of Maven’s network.
