Jamie joined Maven in February 2026 and leads the firm’s Growth team in London. He focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing growth investments, working closely with ambitious founders and management teams as they scale their businesses.
Prior to joining Maven, Jamie was Head of Early-Stage Ecosystem Coverage at HSBC Innovation Banking. Before that, he was part of the founding team at Uncapped, a leading fintech credit business, where he gained valuable operating experience.
Earlier in his career, Jamie spent close to five years at Passion Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund. He began his career as a corporate lawyer, training and qualifying at Travers Smith before moving to Bird & Bird, where he advised on a broad range of venture capital and private equity transactions.
He is also an active angel investor, having backed more than 25 technology companies, several of which have achieved successful exits.
