Greg joined Maven in September 2026 and is based in our Leeds office. His responsibilities include deal origination and execution across Yorkshire region, as well as continuing that close working relationship post investment. Greg’s background in professional services, and most recently in private investment office, means he is collaborative and user friendly.
Prior to joining Maven, Greg was an Investment Director at Venturian Funding & Investment Group for 10 years where he helped establish and run the investment firm as well as being involved in executing and completing early stage and growth equity transactions, bridge finance and business lending to SMEs across multiple sectors.
Greg began his career as a solicitor with global law firm DLA Piper, where he was involved with private equity and M&A transactions.
He has an LLB Honours Degree from the University of Durham and a Legal Practice Certificate from the University of Law.
Outside of work Greg enjoys his sport and the outdoors and particularly running round after his family.
