Gary joined Maven in October 2024, based in our London office and leads Maven’s national portfolio management activity. Gary is responsible for generating and protecting Shareholder value, exit planning and monitoring performance, as well as personally managing ten Maven investments.
He has extensive experience working with SMEs in value creation roles, notably in the technology and media sectors, and joined Maven from Bauer Media Group where he served as Director of M&A.
Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for a Global SaaS startup, responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing equity value. Gary started his career at Arthur Andersen in the corporate finance group, working with private equity clients before spending 16 years in senior strategy and corporate development roles within global entertainment business, including Sony Pictures and Walt Disney Television.
He is an ACA through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has an MEng from Durham University.
Outside of work, Gary is a passionate motorsport enthusiast and loves spending time with his two young children as well as playing tennis and skiing when time allows.
