Craig joined Maven in May 2024 and is based in our Edinburgh office. His responsibilities include origination and execution of new equity investments across Scotland, with a particular focus on development capital in disruptive, high growth businesses.
Prior to joining Maven, Craig spent three years at Edinburgh-based deal advisor HNH where he advised on numerous sell-side M&A transactions, covering Building Products, Haulage & Logistics, Specialist Engineering, Aquaculture, Whisky and Sport Tech, prior to which he started his career with Deloitte in Aberdeen.
Craig holds a First Class Honours degree in Business Economics from the University of Dundee and is a Chartered Accountant – qualifying with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS) during his time with Deloitte.
Outside of work Craig tries to maintain his fitness through an assortment of ticking off Scotland’s Munros, running, padel or a lovely, long walk, spoiled only by the quality of his golf! All of this is fuelled by his other keen interest – sourcing the next up and coming eateries and watering holes around Edinburgh and beyond!
