Andrew joined Maven in September 2003 and is based in our Birmingham & London offices. His responsibilities include deal origination and execution of MBO investments across the Midlands and South of England. He is a member of Maven’s Investment Committee and has responsibility for and oversight of the Maven UK Regional Buyout Fund.
Prior to joining Maven, Andrew had responsibility for the European operations of Freedom International Inc, a Canadian investment company. Before that, Andrew worked for CIBC in their Investment Bank, structuring debt and derivative packages to fund their European proprietary investment portfolio. Andrew began his career in banking at Lloyds TSB, where he was involved with commercial and corporate lending.
He has an MBA which focussed on corporate recovery strategies.
Outside of work Andrew enjoys rugby, although after age and injuries caught up with him it is definitely now only from the side lines.
