Alex joined Maven in October 2015 and is based in our Glasgow office. As part of the client reporting team Alex supports various aspects of Maven’s client servicing and reporting function with a core focus on the Maven managed VCTs.
Alex has a wide range of experience within the financial services sector having started her career at Arthur Andersen before moving to Abbey National Asset Managers where she worked on the UK equities desk as a buy side research analyst. She later moved to Bell Lawrie, the investment banking arm of Brewin Dolphin, where she worked as a sell side research analyst specialising in UK listed small and mid-cap companies. She has also spent time working at Scottish Enterprise and with a boutique corporate finance house.
Alex has an MA (Hons) in Economics and Management from the University of Glasgow and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
Outside of work Alex enjoys foreign travel and adventure with her husband and two daughters.
As part of the support team we are a central point of contact. We have great team dynamics and maintain a positive “can do” attitude towards any of the projects we are involved in. We’re always looking at ways to improve our processes to ensure our clients get the best possible service and end product.
