The Scottish Loan Fund (SLF) provides loans from £250,000 to £5 million to companies having difficulty accessing more traditional forms of bank finance. Maven Capital Partners acts as SLF Fund Manager and will consider companies that meet the fund's eligibility criteria, with a particular focus on those businesses with growth potential.

Loans can be repaid over a flexible terms of 3-7 years and capital repayment holidays are available. Importantly to many SMEs there is no equity stake taken in the business, with management retaining full operational control.
